A carefully constructed formulation of jagged guitar riffs, haunting vocals, sweeping strings, and thunderous percussion, resounding with the cavernous haunted reverb of an old church. Us on Roofs holed up in the summer of 2012 to create their debut full-length record at "The Unknown," an analog recording studio in the seaside town of Anacortes, WA.
"This four-piece has filled out its sound considerably since 2011's Some Unrecorded Beam EP, and the result is its strongest set of songs to date, striking an appropriate balance between melodic indie-rock riffage and brawny math-rock passages" - Seattle Weekly Reverb Monthly
